Our Limited Edition 'Design Your Own Sparkling' Wine Tour is not to be missed! Normally only available as a private tour for groups, this is the opportunity to jump on board with fellow sparkling lovers for an indulgent day in the Perth Hills wine region.
Just like our other tours, the Design Your Own Sparkling Wine Tour also has a focus on Meeting the Makers for a more personalised and HANDS-ON experience.
Set in the beautiful Bickley Valley, the highlight of this wine making tour in Perth is a private Sparkling Masterclass where you will learn about the blending, tirage and disgorging steps of sparkling wine production from grape to bottle. The winemakers will lead you through a tasting to trial of a range of sparkling dosage liqueurs, followed by a hand-disgorging demonstration.
Each guest will get to choose their preferred ‘taste’ from the tasting trial, and the winemakers will hand-disgorge and dosage a 500ml bottle of sparkling tailor-made for each person to take home as a memento.
Throughout this workshop you will:
- Go behind the scenes into the winery
- Sample a range of premium sparkling wines
- Trial dosage liqueurs to select your preferred 'taste'
- Watch disgorging in action
- Choose the dosage for your own tailor-made bottle (500ml)
As well as the masterclass, you will indulge in a delicious vineyard platter lunch with a glass of sparkling wine, and visit an additional winery to taste their range of unique sparkling wines.
Our tours are guaranteed to be a maximum of 12 people, so that you get a personalised and memorable experience.
